Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, and also a television host at MSNBC, a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of the show The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would not be on the show in May 2021. They planned to launch their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast alongside Kyle Kulinski. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball says that she owes her passion for politics due to the fact that she became a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries and also was able to observe the US presidential election results while living in Jordan. She was able observe how the outcome affected people in that country and, as a result, she was able to appreciate the impact that US politics has on all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 2015. She established the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
